Midwest is slightly wetter Wednesday and Saturday. Rains this past weekend improved moisture a bit in western IA and northwestern MO. However, drier weather in most areas this week will allow moisture shortages to increase again, especially in central and western areas. The 6-10 day outlook is wetter in west central and eastern areas. Temperatures are cooler in northwestern areas. The 11-15 day outlook is slightly drier in southeastern areas. Temperatures are warmer in all areas.
-Plains are slightly wetter Wednesday. The continued lack of notable rains across the region will allow moisture shortages to build further in western areas. Meanwhile, wetness will ease in southeastern areas. The 6-10 day outlook is wetter in north central areas. Temperatures are cooler in western areas. The 11-15 day outlook is warmer in all areas.

-Northern Plains/Prairies are drier in the northern Prairies in the 6-10 day period. Rains in the northwestern Plains and southwestern Prairies this week will slow spring wheat harvesting a bit, but drier weather in the northern and eastern Prairies and northeastern Plains will allow spring wheat harvesting to progress well. The 6-10 day outlook is drier in the northern Prairies. Temperatures are cooler in the Plains. The 11-15 day outlook is wetter in the northern Plains and Prairies. Temperatures are warmer in the eastern Prairies.
-Delta is wetter in southern areas in the 6-10 day period. Drier weather across central and northern areas will favor corn drydown and early harvesting. The 6-10 day outlook is wetter in southern areas. Temperatures are unchanged. The 11-15 day outlook is wetter in central areas. Temperatures are warmer in northern areas.
-Argentina is wetter in eastern areas in the 6-10 day period. Rains should return to Santa Fe and Entre Rios this week, which should improve moisture a bit for wheat. Dryness will continue to stress the crop in western areas, though. The 6-10 day outlook is wetter in eastern areas.
-Brazil is drier in central areas in the 6-10 day period. Rains this past weekend improved moisture a bit in Mato Grosso do Sul, and some additional improvements are expected there as well as in Mato Grosso this week. The 6-10 day outlook is drier in central areas, and wetter in southern areas.
-No changes for Europe. The continued downturn in rains in central and eastern areas will favor crop drydown and harvesting. Additional rains are still needed in east central and southeastern areas to ease dryness, though.
-No changes for FSU. Showers have eased dryness in northern and western Ukraine, Belarus, and Central Region, but dryness continues in southeastern Ukraine and southwestern Volga Valley. Rains this week should ease dryness a bit in southwestern Volga Valley.
-No changes for China. Rains are improving moisture in southwestern Yangtze Valley, but dryness is building again in central and southeastern North China Plain. Moisture will also decline a bit in central and southern portions of Northeast China, although corn and soybean growth will be finishing up.
-No changes for Australia. Dryness will continue to build across northern New South Wales, Queensland, and western South Australia wheat areas. Rains will maintain moisture in Western Australia.
-No changes for India. Rains should maintain moisture in eastern and southern crop areas, and some slight improvement is expected in southwestern crop areas this week. However, dryness will build further in west central soybean/groundnut areas.
