Midwest is slightly wetter Saturday. Rains in eastern IA, northwestern IL, and southern WI this weekend should improve moisture a bit, but will likely be too light to significantly ease stress on corn and soybeans. The 6-10 day outlook is wetter in eastern areas. Temperatures are warmer in central areas. The 11-15 day outlook is
wetter in northwestern areas. Temperatures are warmer in western areas.
-Plains are wetter in the 11-15 day period. The continued drier pattern across the
region will allow moisture shortages to build further in western areas. Meanwhile,
wetness will ease in southeastern areas. The 6-10 day outlook is unchanged. The
11-15 day outlook is wetter in north central areas. Temperatures are warmer in
southeastern areas.
-Northern Plains/Prairies are wetter in the eastern prairies in the 6-10 day period.

harvesting a bit, but drier weather in the northern and eastern Prairies and
northeastern Plains will allow spring wheat harvesting to progress well. The 6-10
day outlook is wetter in the eastern Prairies. Temperatures are unchanged. The 11-15
day outlook is wetter in the Plains, and drier in the western Prairies. Temperatures
are cooler in the Prairies.

central and northern areas will favor corn drydown and early harvesting. The 6-10
day outlook is drier in southern areas. Temperatures are unchanged. The 11-15 day
outlook is drier in central areas. Temperatures are warmer in northern areas.
-Argentina is wetter in southeastern areas in the 6-10 day period. Rains should
return to Santa Fe and Entre Rios this weekend, which should improve moisture a bit
for wheat. Dryness will continue to stress the crop in western areas, though. The
6-10 day outlook is wetter in southeastern areas.
-Brazil is drier in southern areas in the 6-10 day period. Showers are improving
moisture a bit in southwest Mato Grosso and western Mato Grosso do Sul, but more
rains will still be needed in northern areas to ease dryness. The 6-10 day outlook
is drier in southern areas.
-No changes for Europe. Rains will build moisture a bit in northern Spain and
France, while dryness rebuilds in southeastern areas. Crop maturation and harvesting
should progress well in north central and eastern areas, though.
-No changes for FSU. Showers will continue to build moisture across northeastern
Ukraine, Central Region, and North Caucasus. Rains should also ease dryness in
southwestern Volga Valley. However, some dryness will persist in southeastern
Ukraine.
-No changes for China. Rains should spread back across much of Yangtze Valley
through the weekend, which will further improve moisture. Rains should also improve
moisture a bit in southern Northeast China. However, dryness will build again in
central North China Plain.
-No changes for Australia. Dryness will continue to build across northern New South
Wales, Queensland, and western South Australia wheat areas. Rains will maintain
moisture in Western Australia.
-No changes for India. Rains should maintain moisture in eastern and southern crop
areas, and should improve moisture a bit in southwestern crop areas. However,
dryness will build further in west central soybean/groundnut areas.
