-Argentina is wetter in far southern areas in the 6-10 day period. Continued drier weather this week will allow moisture shortages and wheat stress to continue. Some spotty freeze damage has likely occurred on wheat in central and southern Buenos Aires and La Pampa. The 6-10 day outlook is wetter in far southern areas.
-Brazil is wetter in central and southern areas in the 6-10 day period. Rains in southern areas this past weekend continued to improve moisture for wheat, although some localized wetness is developing in northern Rio Grande do Sul. Frost will be likely in northern Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina on Wednesday morning. The 6-10 day outlook is wetter in central and southern areas.
-No changes for Europe. Rains this past weekend improved moisture in northeast France, southern Germany, and northern Italy, and some improvements are expected in Former Yugoslavia, Romania, and Hungary this week.
-No changes for FSU. Showers in central and southwestern Ukraine this week will improve moisture a bit, but dryness will persist in southeastern and northwestern Ukraine.
-No changes for China. Rains increased across southern North China Plain, and central and eastern Yangtze Valley this past weekend, which improved moisture a bit for any late crop growth. Rains this week should improve moisture in southern portions of Northeast China.
-No changes for Australia. Rains have increased across northern wheat areas of Western Australia, and more is expected this week. However, dryness will continue across western wheat areas of South Australia, northern New South Wales, and Queensland.
-No changes for India. Rains will maintain moisture for soybeans in central and northern areas. However, some spotty dryness has developed across south central groundnut areas, and little improvement is expected there this week.
