Midwest is wetter today and Saturday. Rains today and again this weekend in northwestern areas should improve moisture a bit for late soybean growth. However, the rains are not expected to completely end dryness and crop stress. The 6-10 day period is unchanged. The 11-15 day period is wetter in eastern areas, and drier in western areas. Temperatures are unchanged.

Rains in west central areas through the weekend will significantly improve soil moisture levels, which will benefit winter wheat germination. -Northern Plains/Prairies are cooler in the e astern Prairies in the 11-15 day period. Drier weather in most areas through the weekend will allow spring wheat harvesting to progress well. The 6-10 day outlook is unchanged. The 11-15 day outlook is cooler in the eastern Prairies.
-Delta is wetter in the 11-15 day period. Rains in northeastern areas today will result in only minor harvest delays for corn. The 6-10 day outlook is unchanged. The 11-15 day outlook is wetter in all areas. Temperatures are unchanged.
-Argentina is wetter in southwestern areas in the 6-10 day period. Dry and very warm conditions in northern and western areas are maintaining notable stress on winter wheat. Rains should return to eastern areas, though, which will continue to improve moisture there. The best improvements will be in Santa Fe, Entre Rios, and eastern Buenos Aires. The 6-10 day is wetter in southwestern areas.
-No changes for Brazil. Dry weather through the weekend will allow wetness there to ease a bit, but dryness will build again in central and northern areas. The 6-10 day outlook is unchanged.
-No changes for Europe. Rains will further improve moisture across southeastern areas, which will benefit winter wheat this fall. Drier weather in western areas will favor summer crop drydown and harvesting.
-No changes for FSU. Rains will further improve moisture in west central and southwestern Ukraine, but dryness will linger in southeastern Ukraine.
-No changes for China. Drier weather in central and northern New South Wales will now favor corn drydown. Rains in Yangtze Valley and southeastern North China Plain will slow crop drydown a bit.
-No changes for Australia. Rains in New South Wales later this weekend should improve moisture for winter wheat. However, dryness will continue across much of Queensland.
-No changes for India. Rains will continue to improve moisture in southwestern crop areas, but some dryness will persist in far west central areas.
