to Santa Fe and Entre Rios this weekend, which should improve moisture a bit for
wheat. Dryness will continue to stress the crop in western areas, though. The 6-10

-No changes for Brazil. A few showers favored central Minas Gerais and western Goias
this past week, which improved moisture a bit. More limited rains in south central
areas through the weekend will allow wetness there to ease a bit. The 6-10 day
outlook is unchanged.
-No changes for Europe. Rains should increase across northern Spain, France, and
Germany through the weekend, which will improve moisture for the upcoming winter
wheat planting. Meanwhile, drier weather in eastern areas will favor corn and
sunflower drydown.
-No changes for FSU. Showers will continue to build moisture across Central Region
and North Caucasus. Rains should also ease dryness in southwestern Volga Valley.
However, some dryness will persist in southeastern Ukraine.
-No changes for China. Rains should continue to spread across much of Yangtze Valley
through the weekend, which will further improve moisture. Rains should also improve
moisture a bit in southern Northeast China, which will favor late growth of corn and
soybeans. Dryness will build further in central North China Plain, but crop growth
is finishing up.
-No changes for Australia. Dryness will continue to build across northern New South
Wales, Queensland, and western South Australia wheat areas, which will further
reduce yield potential. Rains will maintain moisture in Western Australia.
-No changes for India. Rains should build back into southwestern areas this weekend
and next week, which will improve moisture and prevent significant stress on
groundnuts and soybeans.
