Showers in central and southern areas today will likely be too light to improve moisture, and some dryness will persist in south central and southwestern areas. -The Pacific Northwest is wetter in northeastern areas in the 6-10 day period. Dry weather through early next week will favor wheat planting. Soil moisture should remain adequate for wheat germination and establishment. The 6-10 day outlook is slightly wetter in northeastern areas. Temperatures are cooler in southwestern areas. The 11-15 day outlook is wetter in southern areas. Temperatures are unchanged.

-No changes for Argentina. Showers in Entre Rios and central Santa Fe will further improve moisture for corn and sunflowers, but some dryness will continue in northern Buenos Aires. The 6-10 day outlook is unchanged today.
-No changes for Brazil. Additional rains across northern areas this weekend will further improve moisture for corn and soybean germination. Showers in southern areas early next week will improve moisture there as well. The 6-10 day outlook is unchanged today.
-No changes for Europe. Showers will further improve moisture in U.K., while drier weather in Italy and Germany will allow wetness there to ease and wheat planting to improve.
-No changes for FSU. Rains in eastern Ukraine will result in only brief delays to any remaining planting, but showers in Central Region will be more persistent and will thus slow planting further.
-No changes for China. Continued drier weather in North China Plain and much of Northeast China will favor corn and soybean harvesting, but the continued dryness in central North China Plain will maintain stress on winter wheat establishment.
-No changes for Australia. Showers in South Australia later this weekend will likely be too light to ease dryness and stress on late heading wheat. Rains in southeastern Queensland are improving moisture for sorghum, but dryness continues in central Queensland and northern New South Wales sorghum areas.
-No changes for India. Scattered showers in southern areas will improve moisture for any late growth of groundnuts, while drier weather in central areas will allow wetness to ease and maturation of groundnuts and soybeans to improve.
