-Plains are wetter in northern areas on Saturday. Rains in southern areas continue to improve moisture, while drier weather in central and northeastern areas is favoring remaining wheat harvesting. Rains in northern areas this weekend will slow remaining harvesting a bit. The 6-10 day outlook is slightly wetter in northeastern areas. Temperatures are cooler in central areas. The 11-15 day outlook is wetter in northern areas. Temperatures are warmer in western and southern areas.
-Northern Plains/Prairies are wetter Friday and Saturday. Moisture remains a bit short in northern Alberta, but showers there this weekend will improve conditions a bit. Crop conditions remain favorable elsewhere in the spring wheat belt. The 6-10 day outlook is slightly wetter in the northeastern Plains and southern Prairies. Temperatures are cooler in the northern Plains. The 11-15 day outlook is wetter in all areas. Temperatures are cooler in the eastern Prairies.
-Delta is wetter in northern areas in the 6-10 day period. Rains in eastern areas will improve moisture a bit, and will be most beneficial in northeastern crop areas. The 6-10 day outlook is drier in southern areas, and wetter in northern areas. Temperatures are warmer in southern areas. The 11-15 day outlook is drier in southern areas.
-No changes for Argentina. Rains in far southeastern Buenos Aires will further improve moisture there for wheat, but dryness and stress will continue to build in western wheat areas. The 6-10 day outlook is unchanged today.
-Brazil is drier in central areas in the 6-10 day period. Increased rains in central Brazil will build wetness concerns again, especially in northern Parana and southern Sao Paulo. The 6-10 day outlook is drier in central areas.
-No changes for Europe. Rains in southeastern France will improve moisture a bit, but moisture will continue to decline in U.K., central and southern Germany, northern Italy, and Hungary. This will favor winter crop harvesting, but rains would be helpful for summer crops.
-No changes for FSU. Dryness will continue to build in north central Ukraine and southeastern Belarus this week, but some improvements are possible there next week. Rains this week should ease dryness a bit in Volga Valley.
-No changes for China. An upturn in rains in central North China Plain will ease dryness there, but some dryness will linger in southern Yangtze Valley. Drier weather in northwestern North China Plain will allow wetness there to ease, but wetness will likely build further in western Yangtze Valley.
-No changes for Australia. Rains in southern Queensland over the next few days will improve moisture a bit for wheat, although additional rains will still be needed there and in Western Australia to completely end dryness.
-No changes for India. Rains will remain active across central and northern areas which will maintain favorable crop conditions. However, some spotty dryness continues in southern groundnut areas, accounting for about 10% of the crop.
