Cropcast Morning Headlines:
-Midwest is drier in central and southwestern areas in the 6-10 day period. Rains this weekend and early next week will increase soil moisture across the region. The 6-10 day outlook is drier in central and southwestern areas. Temperatures are cooler in western areas. The 11-15 day outlook is wetter in southwestern areas. Temperatures are unchanged.
-Plains are wetter in northwestern areas this weekend. Very warm weather is allowing wheat to green up in some areas, but colder weather is expected next week, especially in western areas. Winterkill is still not expected, however. The 6-10 day outlook is drier in east central areas. Temperatures are cooler in western areas. The 11-15 day outlook is wetter in southern areas. Temperatures are unchanged.
-No changes for Florida. Dry weather through early next week will favor harvesting. Frost threats will remain very low. The 6-10 day outlook is unchanged. The 11-15 day outlook is also unchanged.
-Delta is drier in northern areas in the 6-10 day period. Rains on Sunday will maintain sufficient moisture for wheat. The 6-10 day outlook is drier in northern areas. Temperatures are slightly cooler. The 11-15 day outlook is wetter in northern and western areas. Temperatures are slightly warmer.
-No changes for Argentina. Rains in northern and central areas this weekend and early next week will further improve soil moisture levels, favoring corn and soybeans. Some dryness will linger in southwestern Buenos Aires, but rains in the 6-10 day period should improve conditions. The 6-10 day outlook is unchanged.
-Brazil is drier in north central areas and wetter in west central areas in the 6-10 day period. Below normal rainfall will maintain some dryness across northern Mato Grosso, northwestern Goias, Bahia, and northern Minas Gerais. Rains southern Brazil will maintain some wetness in southwestern Sao Paulo, Parana, Santa Catarina, and western Rio Grande do Sul. The 6-10 day outlook is drier southern Goias and southern Minas Gerais and is wetter in southern Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul.
-No changes for Europe. Dryness will build further across Spain, southern France, Italy, and western Hungary as mostly dry weather continues through early next week.
-No changes for FSU. Mild weather will continue over the next few days, but somewhat cooler conditions are expected this weekend and next week. Snow cover should rebuild some across northern Ukraine, Belarus, and Central Region. Winterkill threats will remain low.
-No changes for China. Continued active showers in southern Yangtze Valley are maintaining some wetness concerns for rapeseed.
-No changes for South Africa. Showers should further improve moisture in eastern areas, but significant dryness will continue to stress corn in central and western areas.
-No changes for Australia. Dry weather in Western Australia through early next week will favor wheat harvesting. Dryness continues in south central Queensland sorghum areas, but some improvements are possible through the weekend.
