This morning, the S&P 500 Index e-mini futures (ES-U3) are trading higher by 1.50 points to 1646.50 per contract. Traders and investors are watching the stock market action in Asia, and Europe today. Last night, many of the leading Asian stock indexes sold off. The important and highly followed Nikkei 225 Index (Japan) plunged lower by 2.63 percent. This decline in Japan could hurt many of the leading Japanese ADR’s. Traders should watch for early morning weakness in stock such as Toyota Motor Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:TM), Sony Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:SNE), and the WisdomTree Japan Hedged Equity Fund (NYSEARCA:DXJ). European stock indexes are also coming under some distribution today so there should be plenty of volatility at the start of the trading session in the United States.
