The USDA reports corn export sales for the week ending September 6th were below most pre-report expectations, while soybeans, soybean products, and wheat were within most analysts’ estimates. The 2018/19 marketing year started June 1st for wheat, September 1st for beans, corn, and sorghum, and gets underway October 1st for soybean meal and oil.
Wheat came out at 387,600 tons (14.2 million bushels), up 2% from the week ending August 30th, but down 16% from the four-week average.
