Japanese investors were not too impressed with the BOJ, most likely they wanted more QE. Throughout the Nikkei morning session, and after the afternoon session open, the Nikkei was higher by 1.3% to touch a session high at 14,031. Then, the selling began, as the Yen appreciated further, with the Yen hitting a low at 96.1790. Nikkei closed lower by -1.59% at 13,605, making that a -426 point move from high to close. The Nikkei VIX had another pop, up over 8%, pushing it above 30. S&P Futures (ES) are off the session highs, but still up 3.55 handles at 1691.75. Session high came in at 1694.50. Will be interesting to see if the Yen goes into the 95 handle later tonight.
