Brief Update: Nikkei ends the session down -1.45% at 13,860, as the Yen drops to a session low of 99.7020, with Fukushima Leak news hitting the market as well. Nikkei VIX up 4% at 32.05. S&P Futures (ES) are off their session lows, only down -.75 handles at 1652.25. Session low came in at 1648.50, and session high at 1654 even. The 10 Year Yield has crossed the 3% mark for the first time since July 2011. Markets brace for tomorrow’s NFP report, which could possibly keep the yields rising, hurting the Emerging Markets even further.

Market Wrap 8/5/2013
VIX fell slightly further today, but is still holding close to the 16 level. VIX closed down -.69% at 15.77. Big volumes yet again today. VIX Futures down slightly, with September VIX down the most by .33 at 16.37. Hedgers still in the building, and will likely remain with the Syrian conflict still unknown.
