Talking about "striking whilst the iron is hot"….
Robinhood has just raised another $2.4 billion…
Yes, billion with a (B).
This comes days after investors pumped in 1 billion into the online brokerage to help it ride out a trading frenzy in talked-up stocks like GameStop Inc.

Across markets…
The S&P/ASX 200 added nearly 100 points today to close at 6762.6 points.
There were some very strong performances with 147 companies closing higher and 47 lower.
US futures were last pointing to strong gains on Wall Street overnight, particularly among technology stocks. Google and YouTube’s parent company Alphabet, and Amazon, are reporting results this week.
The information technology sector out-performed, up 4 per cent, followed by a 2.5 per cent gain in industrials and 2 per cent gain in materials. Financial stocks were not far behind, up 1.7 per cent.
The only sector to close in red was healthcare, down 0.4 per cent, thanks to a 1.3 per cent fall in sector heavyweight CSL to $274.33. Morgan Stanley analysts cut their price target on CSL by 7.5 per cent to $272 this morning.

While silver stocks on the ASX retreated after their exuberant buying spree on Monday, Tuesday was a day in the sun for their uranium counterparts.
The trigger for the yellowcake stocks was, unlike Reddit in the case of silver, a more establishment source, the Bank of America (BofA).
As the Australian market opened on Tuesday, the uranium stocks tore out of the barrier gates and retained their vigour well into afternoon trading with several registering double-digit gains.
BofA says the delays to planned nuclear plant closures in the US could increase uranium demand projections by 26 million pounds a year (Mlbs) — and this coming on top of existing concern that uranium supply will be squeezed by 2023 as nuclear utilities are forced to replace existing supply contracts.
US utilities have been delaying such new contract negotiations.

China and Hong Kong stocks climbed on Tuesday, helped by easing concerns about tight liquidity conditions and falling cases of new coronavirus infections.
The CSI300 index rose 1.1% to 5,477.39 points at the end of the morning session, while the Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.6% to 3,524.42 points.
The Hang Seng index jumped 1.8% to 29,419.35 points, while the Hong Kong China Enterprises Index gained 2.2% at 11,707.28 points.
Leading the gains on the mainland, the CSI300 consumer discretionary index and CSI300 healthcare index added 3.6% and 2.1%, respectively.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng tech index and the Hang Seng industrials index climbed 3.2% and 3.9%, respectively.
