A beautiful sunny day here in Melbourne.
Put your hands up if you are going for a run after work!
Today we had a site visit and explored the different technologies in the vertical farming industry!
Amazing to see how technology can provide solutions for agriculture by using less energy, space and water!
Across markets…
This Afternoon, the Australian sharemarket notched up a three day winning streak as the big three miners rallied strongly after iron ore rose to a seven year high.
The S&P/ASX200 Index added 25.1 points, or 0.4 per cent, to 6615.3 points.
The Pilbara trio of BHP, Rio Tinto and Fortescue Metals Group accounted for the bulk of the market’s gain as iron ore pushed to $US136 a tonne as rival Brazilian producer Vale warned of lower-than-expected production this year and in 2021.
Vale said it expects to produce between 300 million and 305 million tonnes of iron ore this year, down from a prior target of producing between 310 million and 330 million tonnes.
Vale estimates production will rise to between 315 million and 335 million tonnes in 2021. Analysts had expected production of 340 million tonnes.

Just days after sowing up a buyout of wine industry logistics provider Wine Delivery Australia for $2.4 million, Digital Wine Ventures (ASX: DW8) published an update declaring that its shipments continued their record uptrend.
WineDepot is a cloud-based SaaS technology platform that facilitates direct-to-market wine sales across Australia, which its developers claim it provides value by removing layers of inefficiency in the supply chain.
The platform launched in September 2019 and was regarded as a success after picking up steady customer growth every month. The cloud-based wine distribution platform also offers vertically integrated trading, order management and a dedicated logistics service.

Across Asia, the central bank has forbidden India’s largest private lender, HDFC Bank, from adding new credit card customers or launching digital businesses after its digital payment services were hit by a power failure last month.
The Reserve Bank of India has asked the bank’s board to examine the lapses and fix accountability, the lender said in a stock exchange filing on Thursday.
“The above measures shall be considered for lifting upon satisfactory compliance with the major critical observations as identified by the RBI,” it added, referring to the central bank’s curbs.
On Nov. 21, HDFC Bank’s digital payments business was down for more than 12 hours, following a power outage in its primary data centre.
