The company also intends to develop a commercial plant with a capacity of 10,000tpa, that is expected to generate in the order of $110M in revenue and EBITDA of $42M.

ASX:NC6 announced its collaboration agreement with Paradise Textiles, of the Alpine Group, for the development of the company’s tree-free fibre into yarn.
The Alpine Group is a supplier to some of the biggest brand names in apparel, including: The North Face, Sweaty Betty, American Eagle Outfitters, Under Armour and Abercrombie and Fitch.

Latrobe Magnesium (ASX: LMG) has taken out a $23 million loan to fund ongoing construction of its demonstration magnesium production plant in Victoria’s Latrobe Valley.
The company signed the documents this week with specialist lender RnD Funding Pty Ltd, with the first $10 million tranche scheduled for early next month.
A further $10 million will be drawn in September and a standby line of $3 million will be available early next year to cover any project cost overruns.
Latrobe said its cash at hand and future funding from the exercise of Latrobe options at $0.04 each will provide it with sufficient funds to complete construction of the 1,000 tonnes per annum plant in the first quarter of the new year.

Indonesia’s trade surplus jumped to its largest ever at $7.56 billion in April, as exports rose to a new record high while imports grew slower than expected, data from the statistics bureau showed on Tuesday.
The resource-rich country has reported a trade surplus every month in the past two years, enjoying an export boom and rising prices of commodities. Indonesia is a major exporter of thermal coal, palm oil, nickel, tin and copper, among others.
April exports were worth $27.32 billion, up 47.76% on a yearly basis, outdoing the poll’s prediction of a 35.97% increase, with shipments of mining and oil and gas products driving growth.
Imports were up 21.97% on an annual basis to $19.76 billion, below the 34.97% rise expected in the poll.
