Finally made it back. I won't wear your out about having to go through twice cause it was a small inconvenience compared to the news Sunday. I find it concerning I can be in a public place for 5 hours and not a peep was spoken on the monitors or the passengers. I did not know it till my party picked me up.
My phone was turned off and perhaps it still is…
If you rent a car and it's electric. And you don't have an app on your phone for charging electric cars…
My advice is FORCE the rental agent to give you three valid charging stations within 5 miles or don't rent that car! I took three hours total to charge that car. Two hours to find a valid charging station. I went through eight. Eight locations to find a physical station.
Sure they had five others. Those were in parking lot you can't get to. And the others in parking lots were either pulled/gone or offline. It took 78 minutes to charge a 153 MAX OUT KW to 99%. You can't get to 100 percent.
So yes, load up on TSLA. That's going to be the plastic of the 1970's You lose 1% every 33 miles. Of course no one lets it get below 43%.
I'm glad the Composite Man agreed with my plan. Looks like it was a grind up again. Supply is coming in at the 5635 handle. That's about all I can say. Without my computer at home, I'm flying blind. Should be back Monday.
