From yesterday: Good morning. Today is SERIES S2L NORMAL with the spill up.
Ok, not a lot of bragging rights on an 18 handle range but the clock nailed it!
The Clock and Wyckoff actually. Lets take it from the eyes of the Composite Man. Over the holiday's (friday) they jamed it up. Then over the weekend, they tried to take it back down. So, at the open price opened around the 60 handle. You can see the opening buldge. Call the spill up seal at 9:35 AM.
Next is the AM LOW. If you noticed the DOW 30 all but 5 were heading South withing the opening. That was good for the clock. At least we knew it was going to be a LOW and AM LOW. On the open you can see some buying to the tune of 12K lots. Now, we have a potential minor sign of weakness in a major sign of strength. Notice at 10:00 AM price gets a bid off 13K and starts to rally for 45 minutes to wetbeak the current open.
Then a move back down for 20 mintues tests the current low of day at 10:00 AM. Notice at 11:00 AM around 10K lots hold the bid. This a sign of strength. The bulls rallied price 45 mintues the bulls could only hold it down for 20 minutes. It's telling you the path of least resistance it to the buying side.
Now you can aruge on the AM LOW. Remember it can go deeper as a how deep is your three. So call it 10:55 AM seal. Now notice price rallied for an hour and 25 five minutes. There is no MID AM turn to it goes into the lunch high. The lunch high is sealed at 12:25 PM which is about normal for a S2L day.
Notice the lunch high prints a higher high of day. Now, a drift down for the mid pm low, where does that come in at? Wait for it… Center time 2:30 PM. Notice how long in duration. About 2 hours and the bears are only able to take back just over half. A bid comes in at the 5/8 retracement.
Your next window is LAST HOUR HIGH where does it seal? Center time at 3:30 PM sixty minutes later at a new high of day. You can see at 3:40 PM price for the first time breaks the uptrend support line. Call it done.
Not bad for an 18 handle day!
Heard in the Chat: IMPRO: DAMIAN197 :(1:55:33 PM) : street retail buys, big ones sell
Some traders get all bent out of shape when they see his post. Some traders use it an indicator and fade.
I think he's right but not yesterday. By my eye it still looks like the big ones are buying. Time will tell.
