When the Sun enters the sign of Libra at 3:50 am on Monday, September 23, the fall equinox officially arrives, bringing with it a sense of balance and fairness. The fall equinox also is one of 10 days each year that legendary trader W.D. Gann highlighted for a potential change of trend. Indeed, the S&P 500 has made a significant high or low within five days of each of the last four season changes. Will this be the fifth?

Note that the start to bitcoin futures at Bakkt begins at 8 pm Sunday, while the Sun is still in Virgo, ruled by the ruler of trading, Mercury. However, it’s first close will have the Sun in Libra, ruled by ruler of money, Venus. Straddling the fall equinox could mean that the contract comes on the board at what will later prove to be an extreme high or low.

Sunday’s astrological leftovers include having a good handle on the details, thanks to a square aspect between Mercury and Saturn.

Monday’s reports include:

  • 3:15 am  France PMI Composite Flash
  • 3:30 am  Germany PMI Composite Flash
  • 4:00 pm  Eurozone PMI Composite Flash

As always, please use protective buy and sell stops when trading futures and options.
