Tomorrow we have a busy ECO schedule schedule starting with the Challenger Job-Cut Report, International Trade, Jobless Claims, Gallup US Payroll to Population, Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen opening remarks at St Louis Fed community development conference, in Washington, Federal Reserve Gov. Lael Brainard speech on economic mobility at St Louis Fed community development conference in Washington, Factory Orders, EIA Natural Gas Report, 3-Yr Note, 10-Yr Note and 30-Yr Bond Announcements, Fed Balance Sheet and Money Supply.
Nice sell off this morning but it was the mutual funds to the rescue.
In most cases the mutual funds sell on the final days of a month or quarter and put the money.
According to The Stock Trader’s Almanac, the S&P 500 has climbed every single April since 2006 by an average of 3.1%. Since 1950, it has been the best performing month for the Dow Jones.
Short week makes less time for the mutual funds to jam the cash back in.
Still not out of the woods yet but getting close.
High: 2058.80 Mid-Morning
Low: 2039.70 Early
Last: 2049.50
Volume: 1.5Mil ESM and 4.5k Bigs traded in the pit.
MOC: Going early today but our guess is big to buy.
